- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: Minimum 3 years required; trauma or MOR experience acceptable; first-timers accepted 2. Cases: CVOR and General OR required; Cardiovascular (CABG, TAVR, LVAD, IABP, MAZE, Mitral valve replacement, Aortic Aneurysm repair, Femoral Cannulation, Pericardial window, PDA, ECMO, Atrial Septal defect repair); Vascular (AAA repair, AV fistula repair, Atherectomy, Carotid Endarterectomy, EVAR, Femoral popliteal bypass graft, Vein stripping); Thoracic (Lobe resection, Mediastinoscopy, Thoracotomy, VATS, Laparoscopic assisted cases); Endoscopic (Bronchoscopy, EGD, Peg tube placement, Laparoscopic assisted cases); Whipple experience required 3. Certifications: BLS required; ACLS preferred; must be in hand 4. License: Active IL license required; in hand or in application process at time of submission 5. Education: Teaching Hospital experience required 6. EMR: Cerner 7. Shifts/Call: 4x10 Days (0615-1645); rotational call on weekends; at least one night of call per week; one or two late nights per week; every third weekend on call; open to block schedule discussion 8. RTO: Ideally no more than 5 days; one pre-approved time off noted 9. Returning Staff: Not specified 10. Travel/Local: No radius restriction; locals accepted 11. Background: Not specified 12.
