- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 1 year of recent CVOR experience required 2. Cases: Cardiovascular scrub experience required; cardiac procedures including CABG, TAVR, LVAD/RVAD, mitral valve replacement, atrial septal defect repair; vascular procedures including AAA repair, carotid endarterectomy, TEVAR, femoral popliteal bypass; thoracic procedures including VATS, thoracotomy, lobe/lung resection; general surgery including appendectomy, cholecystectomy, colon resection, hernia repair, robotics; thoracic, vascular, general, and robotic scrub experience a plus 3. Certifications: ACLS and BLS required; must be included at time of submission 4. License: Active NJ or Compact RN license required at time of submission 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Cerner (PowerChart/SurgiNet) experience required 7. Shifts/Call: Shifts alternate between 6:30a-5:00p and 9:00a-7:30p; on-call required — 2 forty-eight-hour weekends and 14 weekday shifts per 6-week period; weeknight call M-F 7p-7a; weekend call Saturday 7a through Monday 7a; facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks; travelers may be required to make up missed shifts during the same week or end of assignment 8. RTO: All RTO, block, and scheduling requests must be submitted at time of submission; requests made afterward may not be approved; one pre-approved time off noted 9. Returning Staff: Not specified 10. Travel/Local: Locals accepted at the same rate; travelers are first to float between Atlantic City and Mainland Campus (approximately 12 miles apart, 15-20 minute drive) 11.
