- Unit Notes:Hiring Process: Profile Review: Profile Review with MedSol Clinical, Interview with Unit manager at facility - Radius:: 60 MILES, DL must be submitted - Week of orientation: Please ensure clinicians are in state for week of orientation even if first day modules are remote Unit CVOR RN # Suites 16 (3 cvor) Average # of cases per day 30 (1-2 hearts/day) Required Certifications (i.e., BLS, ACLS?) BLS, ACLS preferred Common Cases Open heart, TAVR, Open/Endovascular, Thoracic Experience or 'Must have' skills Open Heart experience and/or Endovascular experience Scrubbing required - RN's Only to scrub into hold the heart and help close the chest Charge Nurse/House Supervisor Gloria/Brooke OR techs 8 in CVOR EMR Epic Shifts & Scheduling (Do you allow self-scheduling? Block scheduling?) 0630-1700, shift negotiable Weeknight/Call Requirements one weekday per week Weekend/Call Requirements one weekend per month (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) (in rotation with staff) Holiday/Call Requirements not required, but prefered if available What is call response time? 30 mins - we have a call room on site team members can stay in if needed Floating Requirements to Gen OR, PRN; General OR if no CVOR cases; If an extreme need could float within Zone 1: PEN, SFH, SFI, SMC, STM Scrub Color/Dress Code Hospital provided scrubs (light blue) Unit/Department specific orientation 1 week Cancellation Policy:Hospital can cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment, 3 shifts for assignments that are less than 13 weeks Charting System:EPIC BSN Required:False License to Submit:Yes Trauma Level: Care Setting:Acute Division:Nursing Shift Notes:630a-7p; Call policy: one weekday per week; one weekend per month (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) (in rotation with staff); Float to General OR if no CVOR cases; Required Certifications:BLS (AHA)
