- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 1 year required 2. Cases: CVOR, Atrial Septal defect repair, Coronary Artery Bypass Graft (CABG), MAZE Procedure, Mitral valve replacement, Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR) 3. Certifications: BLS, ACLS required; copies required at submission 4. License: AK RN License required; pending license accepted (takes 10-12 weeks) 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic experience required 7. Shifts/Call: 4x10 Days, on-call required, weekend on-call required 8. RTO: All RTO must be included with submittal 9. Returning Staff: Permanent staff must be separated minimum 3 months to return as traveler; travelers can work maximum 1 calendar year then require 6-month break 10. Travel/Local: Must be 50 miles from facility; no locals accepted 11. Background: Not specified 12. Modules: Average 16 hours, non-billable; completed pre-start and annually; over 20 hours requires PM approval 13. Travel Experience: First timers accepted 14. Scrubs: Provided by facility 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Unknown; Hep B vaccines required (no titers or declination accepted) 16. Special Equipment: Cell saver, Administration of blood & blood products, Laser Safety, Radiation Safety Critical: Must work 2 out of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year). Can only submit to 1 location within region. Two references covering 1 year within last 3 years required. Guaranteed 70 hours per 2 weeks with ability to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks. Float required within hospital or affiliate hospitals.
