- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years required; first-time travelers accepted with CVICU experience 2. Cases: Post-op cardiac surgery (CABG, MVR, AVR), cardiac surgery re-admissions/ICU bounce-backs, structural heart (TAVR, mitral clips), pre-op patients on intensivist list, STEMI/NSTEMI, cardiogenic shock, Inari procedure 3. Certifications: BLS, CPI, and ACLS required; NIHSS, OCN, and TNCC preferred; all certifications listed must be on file 4. License: MD RN License required 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic required 7. Shifts/Call: 3x12 Nights 19:00-07:30 with possible rotation to 11a-11p based on unit needs; block scheduling not accommodated; every third weekend required; holidays required as scheduled; floating to MSICU as needed; on-call 24-32 hours per rotating 6-week schedule 8. RTO: One pre-approved time off; special scheduling requests must be submitted with RTO at time of application; no block scheduling 9. Returning Staff: Not specified 10.
