- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years Cardiac/CVICU ICU experience required 2. Cases: High acuity CCU requiring CVICU experience; acute heart failure, CHF exacerbation, fluid overload, post cardiac arrest, complete heart block, cardiogenic shock, pre-heart transplant, arrhythmias, ventricular tachycardia 3. Certifications: ACLS, BLS required; must obtain ACLS by compliance deadline 4. License: MO or compact license required (submit without MO license OK); IL license in hand required at submittal; compact must match permanent residence 5. Education: BSN required 6. EMR: Epic experience preferred 7. Shifts/Call: 36 or 48 hours per week; 1:2 patient ratio; every other weekend required; no on-call required 8. RTO: Maximum 7 days (7+ days requires manager approval); no RTO first week of assignment; no new RTO after submission 9. Returning Staff: 18 months with 3-month break in service required; permanent employees must wait 1 year before returning as traveler 10. Travel/Local: No local candidates within 75-mile radius accepted 11. Background: Not specified 12. Modules: Required for RNs; billable up to 16 hours at $20/hr; completed pre-start through WorkRamp; must start within 1 week of contract and complete 2 Fridays prior to start date 13. Travel Experience: Yes, required 14. Scrubs: Navy Blue 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Required - Medical/Religious Exemptions Only 16. Special Equipment: Intra-aortic balloon pumps, LVADs, Impella Critical: Must pass Relias EKG exam. Labs must be completed within 48-72 hours of signing.
