- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years CVU experience required 2. Cases: Cardio-thoracic surgery, open heart patients; TAVR; post cath lab, post cardiac surgery patients with telemetry 3. Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIH required; ACLS required by compliance deadline 4. License: MO or compact license (submit without license OK for MO); IL license in hand required at submittal 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: EPIC experience preferred 7. Shifts/Call: 3x12s or 4x12s accepted; no on-call required; 6 weekend shifts in 6-week period 8. RTO: Maximum 7 days (7+ days requires manager approval); no RTO first week of assignment; no new RTO after submission 9. Returning Staff: 18 months with 3-month break in service required; permanent employees must wait 1 year 10. Travel/Local: No locals accepted within 75-mile radius 11. Background: Not specified 12. Modules: Billable up to 16 hours at $20/hr; completed pre-start through WorkRamp; must be completed 2 Fridays prior to start date 13. Travel Experience: Travel experience required 14. Special Equipment: Hemodynamics experience required; cardiac assistive machine experience preferred; experience with arterial lines, IABP, Swan Ganz monitoring, ventilator management, LVAD/RVAD, pacemakers, Prismaflex-CRRT Critical: Patient ratios 1:1 for ICU shifts, 1:2 for tele; floating within cardiac service line; labs must be completed within 48-72 hours of signing.
