Requirements

- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years required; ICU experience required — must be proficient with CRRT/CVVHD, Hemodynamic Monitoring, IABPs, Impellas, and caring for postoperative heart surgery patients (CABG/Valves) 2. Cases: CRRT/CVVHD, Hemodynamic Monitoring, IABPs, Impellas, post-op CABG/Valve patients required 3. Certifications: Valid certifications required at time of submission; copies required 4. License: PA or compact license required at time of submission; valid state license required at submission; PA Fingerprints required (results take up to 2 weeks; cannot pend) 5. Education: BSN required 6. EMR: Epic 7. Shifts/Call: Rotating — Days (0645-1915) and Nights (1845-0715); every 3rd weekend (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) required; 1 holiday required; no on-call required; block scheduling cannot be accommodated 8. RTO: RTO due at time of submission; RTO after submission will not be accepted; traveler must not have time off that would prevent pre-start compliance 9. Returning Staff: Not specified 10. Travel/Local: 50-mile radius; local rate differential applies 11. Background: PA Fingerprints required; if traveler does not have PA Childline and fingerprint result from within 12 months of start, must go in at earliest available date 12. Modules: Non-billable if completed within first 8 hours of orientation; any time after first 8 hours is billable; completed during orientation 13. Travel Experience: First-time travelers accepted 14. Scrubs: Navy Blue 15. Flu Vaccine: Required — medical/religious exemptions only 16. Special Equipment: IABPs, Impellas, CRRT/CVVHD equipment experience required Critical: Labs must be completed within 48 hours of signing. Pass/Fail exam required for all clinical candidates (3 attempts max; 3rd attempt results in automatic cancellation; no clinical remediation approved). SSN and DOB required for submission.
