- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2+ years required; must be experienced in direct fresh open-heart admissions from OR, cardiac surgery skills, pressure monitoring, Swan-Ganz management, Impella monitoring, and CRRT 2. Cases: Direct fresh open-heart admissions from OR, CABGs, open valve replacements, thoracotomies, carotid endarterectomies, complicated cardiac cath lab patients, STEMIs, cardiogenic shock, post-code patients; ACT (Activated Clotting Time) experience required 3. Certifications: ACLS, BCLS, NIHSS required; must be AHA or American Red Cross; copies must be included in submittal packet 4. License: RN License verification required; Nursys pulled within 2 days of submission date 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Cerner; charting system experience preferred 7. Shifts/Call: 3x12 nights, weekdays and weekends; ratio 1:2; may occasionally float to Medical ICU or Step Down Unit; blocked schedules are an option; orientation is 24 hours 8. RTO: Not specified 9.
