- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years required for submission; CVICU experience required; Cardiothoracic Surgery and/or Acuity Adaptable area experience preferred; Trauma Level I experience required 2. Cases: CABG, Valve Repair/Replacement, Aneurysm repair, aortic dissection repair, LVAD, Heart transplant, lung transplant, thoracic surgery, STEMI, NSTEMI, Cardiogenic shock, Heart failure, arrhythmia management; Post Cardiac Surgery (directly from OR) preferred 3. Certifications: AHA BLS and ACLS required; copies should be AHA or equivalent; traveler must pass Telemetry test prior to being cleared to start 4. License: WI RN license required (or compact RN license) 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic experience required 7. Shifts/Call: Evening/Night, 12-hour shifts, 1900-0730; every other weekend rotation; some holidays required; no call; patient ratio typically 1-2 patients, up to 3 general care patients if acuity is low 8.
