- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2+ years CVICU experience required; fresh heart experience required 2. Cases: CVICU; fresh hearts (post cardiac surgery directly from OR); CABG, TAVR, valve repair/replacement, IABP, Impella, LVAD/RVAD, and extensive cardiovascular/critical care procedures 3. Certifications: AHA BLS and AHA ACLS required; NIHSS (NIH Stroke Scale) required; PALS listed 4. License: Kentucky RN license or compact license required 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Meditech; charting system experience preferred 7. Shifts/Call: 36/48-hour schedule per two-week pay period; every other weekend required; blocked scheduling cannot be accommodated; float required within scope of practice; orientation is bi-weekly 8.
