- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: Minimum 1 year CVICU experience required (dedicated CVICU staff experience); 2 years listed in job requirements 2. Cases: Impella post cardiac surgery (directly from OR), post cardiac surgery (not directly from OR), pre/post cardiac cath/intervention, pulmonary artery line/Swan Ganz monitoring, thermodilution PA cath monitoring; Level 1 Trauma experience preferred 3. Certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS required; must be able to read and interpret strips; pass online EKG tele competency assessment before starting assignment 4. License: Ohio license not required in hand at signing 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic experience required 7. Shifts/Call: 36- or 48-hour shifts available; OT paid after 48 hours on 48-hour contracts; must be available to work every other weekend/holiday; Premier Health reserves the right to cancel 2 shifts due to low census per 13-week contract; traveler is first to float at Premier's discretion within specialty clusters; if assigned to MVH, floating may include main campus (Dayton), south campus (Centerville, less than 10 miles), and north campus (Englewood, less than 15 miles) 8.
