Requirements

- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years of recent experience within the last 7 years required; at least 2 years specialty experience in Interventional Radiology, Cath lab, procedural areas, ICU, or ER required 2. Cases: Interventional Radiology procedures including TIPS, vascular access, drain placement; moderate sedation administration for procedures required 3. Certifications: BLS, ACLS required 4. License: DC RN License required in hand at time of submission 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Cerner 7. Shifts/Call: 4x10 Days 0700-1730; one weekend call every 4-6 weeks; weekday call once every other week 8. RTO: No holiday requests off; no RTO permitted during first two weeks; no more than 7 days per 13-week contract 9. Returning Staff: Nurses with previous MedStar employment must have been separated for minimum of one year before returning as traveler 10. Travel/Local: 60-mile local radius; locals accepted at lower rate; must complete minimum 1 travel assignment 11. Background: Not specified 12. Modules: Facility-specific Sitel modules must be completed within one week of signing contract; average 12 hours duration; billable up to 4 hours; completed pre-start and potentially during orientation; must pass Relias EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam for IR specialty with 80% overall score and 100% on lethal rhythms 13. Travel Experience: 1 previous travel assignment required 14. Scrubs: Not mentioned 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Required - No Exemptions 16.
