- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 1 year required; first-timers accepted if very experienced 2. Cases: Cardiac Stent Placement, Left Heart Catheterization, Right Heart Catheterization, Percutaneous Coronary Interventions (PCI), Procedural Sedation Administration/Monitoring, Circulate Procedures, Interventional Cardiac Cath Lab, Activated Clotting Time (ACT), Starting and Maintaining IVs 3. Certifications: ACLS and BLS required; must be AHA or American Red Cross (not specified in notes) 4. License: Pending license not accepted 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Cerner preferred 7. Shifts/Call: On-call required, typically 10-12 days/month; every other weekend required; must be within 30 minutes of hospital when on call; weekends required; days ratio 1:4; no block schedule accommodation; no floating within scope 8.
