- Unit Notes:**CHOMP is a smoke-free facility - all drug reports must have a negative result for nicotine/cotinine. If tested positive, wi submit for review if traveler has been prescribed a nicotine patch. For all reports with no legitimate reason for positive nicotine/cotinine, the contract will be cancelled. *PLEASE INCLUDE WITH ALL CHOMP SUBMISSIONS: - do they have epic exp, yes/no, if yes- last time used - email address - interview availability times **ALL RTO needs to be in at the time of submission. NO RTO will be approved after candidate is presented to facility. NURSE MAY NEED TO TAKE TOTAL PATIENT CARE ASSIGNMENTS 8-hour DAY shift, 7:00am-3:30pm with PM, night and weekend call. Approximately 10 call shifts/month. Every other weekend and maybe 2 per week. Perm staff likes to take call # suites/labs 2 cath lab suites, 1 EP lab #cases per day on average 4-5 EP and 6-7 cath cases per day Required Certifications BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, RCIS preferred not required (registered cardiovascular invasive specialist) Common diagnoses/Types of patients PCI, pacemaker, STEMI, diagnostic, TAVR/Watchmans, would eventually like candidates who have experience with this Job Duties may need to be able to preop/recover patients at times, Experience or 'Must have' skills Must have 2 years experience in specialty or more, structural experience preferred not required EMR/Equipment Preferred: Epic for nurses, techs need epic, mckesson, philips, siemens Cardiologist hours/on call on call Manager/Charge Nurse Manager/ charge nurse Cath Lab Techs Yes Shifts & Scheduling M-F 0700-1530 Weeknight/Call Requirement Call during the week is 1530-0700 the next day; travelers usually do not get that much call as the staff like to pick it up for the pay, but there may be a day here and there that no one wants to pick up, so it is mainly filling in the holes. An RN, rad tech, and cath tech are on-call for each team Weekend/Call Requirement 24/7 call for weekends - rotating every 3rd, call starts at 1530 on Friday until 0700 the next day, then a 0700-0700 shift Holiday/Call Requirement should be willing to work holidays- call What is call response time? 30 minutes Floating Requirements not required Scrub Color/Dress Code Provided Unit/Department specific orientation 2-3 shifts depending on experience Cancellation Policy:**Client reserves the right to Call-off a Professional up to the equivalent of 36 hours during a 13 week assignment, with no penalty or need to pay for the shift. 14 days notice to cancel assignment Charting System:EPIC BSN Required:False License to Submit:Yes Trauma Level: Care Setting:Acute Division:Nursing Shift Notes:0700-1530, M-F with rotating call Required Certifications:ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA), NIHSS
