Job Description
Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN – Care Management
Shift: Days / 9a start, 8×5, 40 hrs/week, weekend rotation.
Length: 13 weeks
Requirements:
- MA license
- 3 years experience
- BSN
- BLS
- 5 years experience w/UM & CM, EPIC preferred
- CCM or related cert preferred
Other Details:
- Extensive background & knowledge of current MS patterns of practice & acute inpatient care Methods for assessing physical/mental impairment, understanding the characteristics of illness & expected tx. Knowledge of benefits, plan contracts, eligibility issues & requirements
- Dept Details: Utilizing a collaborative process, the CM will assess, plan, implement, monitor & evaluate the options/services required to meet a pt’s health needs, using good communication & available resources to promote quality.The CM will meet pt needs, manage the LOS & promote efficient utilization of resources. Determines medical necessity & appropriateness of admission w/InterQual screening & inpt list from Medicare
- Talent who reside less than 50 miles from the facility will be local
