- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 1 year per unit details; 2 years per job requirements section. Acute care hospital experience required — behavioral health experience does not apply, do not submit. 2. Cases: Discharge planning; case coordination including continued stay reviews, pre-cert reviews, prior authorizations, medical necessity determinations, InterQual and Milliman criteria utilization, DME ordering, ICD-10 coding, and workers' compensation case management. 3. Certifications: BLS preferred (not required); ACM-RN certification preferred; AK RN License required for Auto Offer. Copies of certifications required at submission. All certs must be AHA or American Red Cross. 4. License: AK RN License required in hand for Auto Offer; pending license accepted (takes 10-12 weeks). Valid state license required at submission. Nursys not specified. 5. Education: Not specified. 6. EMR: Epic required (noted as negotiable with the right candidate); charting system experience required. 7. Shifts/Call: 5x8 Days; shift times 0700-1530, 0730-1600, 0800-1630, or 0830-1700. Monday-Friday business hours required. Weekends required every other weekend or 4 weekend days per 4-week schedule. No on-call required. Float required within case manager services and potentially to affiliate hospitals nearby. 8. RTO: Only 1 time-off request per 13-week assignment of 5 days or less. No holiday RTO for Auto Offer. Traveler must be willing to work 2 out of 3 major holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year. Returning Staff: Permanent staff must be separated from Providence for a minimum of 3 months before returning as a traveler.
