Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel – MRI Tech

Shift:  Nights / 10p-6:30a, 8×5, 40 hrs per week, Sun-Thurs, holidays, on call, callback per unit needs
Length: 18 weeks

Requirements:

• NY License
• 2 years’ experience
• Level 1 trauma center experience
• AHA BLS
• Certification through the ARRT
• Must have GE scanner experience to be considered
• Must have injection certification to be considered

Other Details:

MRI Technologist Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to: 

• Maintain a clean and safe scanning facility
• Coordinate with physicians to provide diagnostic imaging
• Prepare patients for scans and explain the procedure to help them feel comfortable
• Insert IVs when necessary for the test
• Document all procedures while maintaining the confidentiality of patient information
• Patient care tasks as needed
