Requirements

- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: Minimum 1 year required; First Time Travelers accepted. Outpatient, Inpatient, ED, ICU experience required. NICU, PICU, and Adult ICU experience required (NICU/PICU preferred for night shift placements only). Peds, Adolescent, Adult, and Geriatric experience required; Neonates and Infants preferred. 2. Cases: Abdomen without and/or with contrast, Adult Acute Care, Adult Outpatient, Brain perfusion, Cervical, Chest without and/or with contrast, Colonography, CT arthrography, Drainage, Emergency Department, Head without and/or with contrast, Lumbar, Musculoskeletal trauma, Myelography, Pediatric Acute Care, Pelvis without and/or with contrast, Preparation and/or administration of contrast media, Thoracic, Transplant studies, Vascular CTA, Calcium scoring/Cardiac CT, Aspirations, Biopsies (preferred), Starting Peripheral IVs (preferred). PACS and Contrast required; Biopsies and IV starts preferred. 3. Certifications: BLS and ARRT CT required; must be in hand at submission. 4. License: License in hand required at time of submission. 5. Education: Education verification through a 3rd party is required. Facility will not accept education from schools listed on the Diploma Fraud Florida Education Audit list. 6. EMR: Epic experience REQUIRED. Charting system experience listed as Preferred in system, but notes explicitly state Epic is required. 7. Shifts/Call: 4x9s, Mids, 2p-11:30p, Thursday-Sunday. Call required: 2 shifts/month if needed. All travelers subject to float to any Cone Health campus if needed. Orientation: 40 hours. 8. RTO: RTO is due at time of submission. RTO after submission will not be accepted. No pre-approved time off. Traveler must not have any time off planned that would prevent completing pre-start compliance on time. 9. Returning Staff: Not specified. 10. Travel/Local: 50-mile radius; No locals accepted. Submission MUST include current driver's license to confirm address for local rule. 11. Background: Facility will not accept any open cases on the background check. 12. Modules: Non-billable; average 2-4 hours; completed during orientation; not included in NBO; hours are unit-based and will vary. 13. Travel Experience: Not required; First Time Travelers accepted. 14. Scrubs: Not mentioned. 15. Flu Vaccine: Required; Medical/Religious Exemptions Only. 16. Special Equipment: Not specified. Critical: Full compliance file required by 12 Noon EST the Wednesday prior to start date. All RNs are required to pass an EKG exam during compliance; 2 attempts allowed; no study material provided. Facility is a Level 2 trauma center, comprehensive stroke center, and large cardiac center. COVID-19 Vaccine required; Medical/Religious Exemptions Only.
