- Unit Notes:- Hiring Process: Profile Review: Profile Review with MedSol Clinical, Interview with Unit manager at facility - Radius:: 60 MILES, DL must be submitted - Week of orientation: Please ensure clinicians are in state for week of orientation even if first day modules are remote Traveler will be utilize for both CT and Xray! Agency MUST provide Traveler Rad Badge Department: CT Tech - SCG General Certification Requirements (BLS, etc.) BLS Certs/ARRT & other specialty certification requirements ARRT (CT), ARRT (R) Kansas license How many scanners/rooms does this department have? 1 GE Will they have to float/cover any other areas? Will float between CT and Xray Common types of imaging/studies performed & Job Duties All CT scans, strokes, trauma Experience or 'Must have' skills Experience in performing CT scans, IV contrast administration - Will help with Xray as well Average # of scans/studies per day EMR &/or PACS (Picture Archive & Communication System: software & hardware) do they use Epic EMR, Fuji Synapse PACS Department Specific Equipment (GE, Phillips, Siemens) GE 64 slice Radiology Supervisor or Lead Tech Alex Argueta, Lead, Rick McManemon, Director Do they use RRA's (Registered Radiology Assistants)? No Radiologist in-house? Typical In-house M, Tu, Th 0730-1600 Do they have to start IV's? (if applicable to the department) Overnight position with IV started in the ED or IP unit.
