- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: Minimum 2 years of CT experience preferred; 2 years required per VMS; first-time travelers considered if GE CT Scanner, FUJI PACS, or Cerner experience is met 2. Cases: Level I Trauma and Stroke Center experience; fast-paced CT department with 2 GE 128 slice scanners; skills include abdomen, chest, brain perfusion, coronary CTA, myelography, vascular CTA, and more as listed 3. Certifications: BLS and ARRT R required; ARRT CT preferred; BLS must be through American Heart Association (AHA); copies must be listed on application at time of submittal 4. License: Valid WV State License or Compact License required to start; pending license accepted for submission; SSN and DOB required at time of submittal 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Cerner required; experience preferred per VMS; FUJI PACS experience also a qualifier per manager 7. Shifts/Call: 3x12s; Friday 10a-10:30p, Saturday 7a-7:30p, Sunday 7a-7:30p; every other weekend required; no call requirements; no floating requirements; blocked schedule; 40 guaranteed hours 8. RTO: No restrictions per manager; must be included at time of submittal; up to two pre-approved time off per VMS 9. Returning Staff: Former permanent employees must wait 2 years from last permanent employment date before returning as a traveler; current Vandalia Health System employees (perm, PRN, etc.) are not eligible for travel contracts within the health system (includes CAMC Health Systems, Mon Health Systems, Davis Medical Center, Broaddus Hospital, Webster Memorial Hospital, Grafton City Hospital, Highland-Clarksburg Hospital, and Minnie Hamilton Health System) 10. Travel/Local: Candidates must have a permanent address 100 miles from the facility; candidates between 75-100 miles may be considered on a case-by-case basis at the same rate 11. Background: Previous probationary actions on a license will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis 12. Modules: Non-billable; average completion time 2-6 hours; completed prior to start date; requirements vary by specialty 13. Travel Experience: Travel experience required per VMS; manager prefers this is not their first travel position but will consider if CT experience is met 14. Scrubs: Caribbean Blue 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Required — Medical Exemptions Only 16. Special Equipment: Not specified Critical: Full file due by noon Monday prior to start date; insufficient documentation results in a 2-week start date push; orientation held every other Thursday. Minimum 2 Manager and/or Charge Nurse references from the past 2 years required. GE CT Scanner, FUJI PACS, or Cerner experience strongly preferred by manager.
