- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years of CT Tech experience required; teaching hospital and community hospital experience required; adult acute care, adult outpatient, Emergency Department, pediatric acute care, and adult ICU experience required; abdominal, pelvic, chest, and head CT imaging with and without contrast experience required; contrast media preparation and administration required; brain perfusion, coronary CTA, and vascular CTA experience required; cervical, lumbar, thoracic, and musculoskeletal trauma imaging experience required; Operating Room, NICU, and PICU experience preferred; Level I or Level II trauma experience preferred 2. Cases: Diagnostic CT scans including abdomen, pelvis, head/neck, chest, spine, brain perfusion, CTAs, and multiplanar reconstruction; contrast administration; OR, NICU, and PICU preferred 3. Certifications: BLS and ARRT-R required; ARRT advanced certification preferred; all must be in hand at submission 4. License: Active Maryland Radiologic Technologist license required upon start; may submit with license in process 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Cerner required; GE, Siemens, and PACS experience required 7. Shifts/Call: No block scheduling; float within scope to meet facility needs indicated; orientation hours are 36 8. RTO: System auto-approves 14 days or less; every other winter and summer holiday are required with no RTO approved; no RTO on hard-to-fill days including Easter, Mother's Day, Father's Day, and similar dates 9.
