- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years of recent experience within the last 7 years required; 1 year EP Lab Clinical experience required 2. Cases: Average 18 daily caseload; Cardiac Electrophysiology study, Head-Up-Tilt test, Cardioversion, Internal Loop Recorder, Atrial flutter/fibrillation ablations, Supraventricular tachycardia ablations, Ventricular tachycardia ablations, Device implants (Watchman, Aveir, Pacemaker, Defibrillator), Device explants/lead extractions 3. Certifications: ACLS, BLS and CCI RCES/RCIS required; ARRT, Fluro permit preferred 4. License: Must have either a compact license or an MD license for MD locations; Must have a DC license in hand for DC locations 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Cerner required; GE Cardiolab preferred 7. Shifts/Call: 3x12 Day or 4x10 Days; 0700-1930 or 0700-1730 with 2 days of late case coverage per week; No on call/weekend requirement 8. RTO: No RTO permitted during first two weeks; No more than 7 days per 13-week contract; Must be included at time of submittal 9. Returning Staff: Nurses with previous MedStar employment must have been separated for minimum of one year before returning as traveler 10. Travel/Local: 60-mile local radius; locals accepted at lower rate; Must complete minimum of 1 travel assignment to be considered 11. Background: Not specified 12. Modules: Sitel modules must be completed within one week of signing contract; Modules billable up to 4 hours, average 12 hours; completed pre-start and potentially during orientation; Must pass Relias EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam achieving at least 80% overall score and 100% on lethal rhythms 13. Two supervisory references required including one from most recent assignment. Must support at least 2 years of experience in previous 3 years.
