- Unit Notes:We are looking for specialized Neurodiagnostic Technologists who can cover dense clinical protocols, specifically intracranial stereoelectroencephalography (SEEG) and Transcranial Doppler (TCD) studies. Job Description: Neurodiagnostic Specialist (Surgical/Stereoelectroencephalography) - Summary: Performs standard and complex EEG recordings, including specialized monitoring such as Long Term Monitoring (LTM), Epilepsy Monitoring Unit (EMU), and intraoperative neurophysiologic monitoring (IONM). - Key Responsibilities: Assists with electrode implantation and design for invasive recordings; performs cortical mapping in the OR; and recognizes clinically significant electrographic patterns to provide critical results. - Qualifications: Minimum of 5 years of experience; requires registries recognized by ABRET (such as R. EEG T. and CLTM). Cancellation Policy:Hospital can cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment, 3 shifts for assignments that are less than 13 weeks Charting System:EPIC BSN Required:False License to Submit:No Trauma Level: Care Setting:Acute Division:Allied Shift Notes:Sun - Tues 7a- 7p Required Certifications:BLS Certification, Certified Long-Term Monitoring (CLTM) via ABRET, Registered EEG Technologist (R.EEGT.) via ABRET
