- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years required for submission 2. Cases: Responsible for set-up of EEG reads and communication with Neuro providers; covers inpatient peds and adults and outpatient peds; skills include Adult ICU, Ambulatory EEG, ECI Brain Death, Electrode Placement, Emergency Department, EMG, Level 1 Trauma, Long Term Monitoring/Video Monitoring, NICU, PICU, Portable Recording, Seizure Studies, Sleep Deprived EEG, Sleep EEG, Portable Recording ICU 3. Certifications: BLS and R.EEGT required; copies of certifications required at submission 4. License: Valid State License required; pending license accepted (takes 10-12 weeks); Hep B vaccine required — facility will not accept titers or declination 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic experience required; specific charting experience must be noted 7. Shifts/Call: 3x12 variable; ambulatory clinic Mon-Fri 8am-5pm; 24-hour call coverage 365 days a year shared among team; on-call 1 night per week and 1 weekend per 4 weeks; guaranteed 60 hours per 2 weeks with possible 1 shift call-off per 2-week period 8. RTO: Must be included at time of submission; traveler must be willing to work 2 out of 3 major holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year 9. Returning Staff: Permanent staff must be separated from Providence for a minimum of 3 months before returning as a traveler; travelers may work a maximum of 1 calendar year, then must take a minimum 6-month break before returning to the same facility 10.
