Experience: Minimum 1 year of direct experience required; 2+ years preferred; minimum 1 year in a similar role within an active interventional cardiac cath, NeuroIR, IR, or EP lab preferred 2. Cases: Biopsies, CVC, PICC, tunneled HD catheters, post placements, fistulograms, angiograms, paracentesis, thoracentesis, drain placements, ureteral stents, nephrostomy tubes, thrombectomies, thrombolysis, Y-90 treatments, embolizations; Cath Lab: Diagnostic and Interventions, IABP, IVUS, IMPELLA; Cardiac Ablation, Cardiac Mapping, EP Studies, Cardioversion, Cardiac pacing device implants, LAAO/Watchman, TAVI/TCAR, Left and Right Heart Cath, ASD closure, Percutaneous cardiac interventions, Pacing 3. Certifications: ARRT Certification required; IEMA Licensure required; BLS through AHA required; ACLS through AHA required (within 6 months of hire); ACLS, BLS, and/or PALS must be through AHA; CCI RCIS and CCI RCES listed; IEMA, ARRT, ABL, ACLS preferred 4. License: Illinois license in hand required; emergency and pending licenses not accepted 5. Education: Graduate of an accredited Radiology Technologist program or Associate Degree in Applied Sciences required; BSN required for Northwestern Memorial Hospital; ASN or BSN accepted at all other facilities in the health system; Bachelor of Science Degree preferred 6. EMR: Epic experience required; Omnicell experience required; charting system experience required 7.
