- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years of Diagnostic, Interventional Radiology, or Cath/EP Lab experience required 2. Cases: Diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures including structural heart procedures, IABP, Impella, and LVAD; IVUS, ICE, rotational atherectomy, thrombectomy 3. Certifications: BLS required (AHA only); ACLS required (AHA only); PALS required for pediatric facilities (AHA only); One of the following also required: RCIS or RCES or RCS by CCI; Radiography (R), Cardiac Interventional (CI), Cardiovascular Interventional (CV), or Vascular Interventional (VI) by ARRT; Abdomen (AB) or OB/GYN RDMS by ARDMS; Adult Echocardiography (AE) RDCS or RVT by ARDMS 4. License: Not specified 5. Education: Associate's degree in cardiovascular technology, radiologic technology, or a healthcare-related field preferred 6. EMR: Not specified 7.
