Requirements

- 1+ years of experience
- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years required; 3 years preferred. First-time travelers accepted with 5+ years of experience. 2. Cases: Cardiac (pacers/ICD/diagnostic R&LHC, PFO), Vascular diagnostics and interventions, IR, Neuro diagnostics and interventions. Facility is a certified Stroke Center. Elective PCI Program in progress (~4 months). Preferred experience includes Diagnostic and Interventional Cardiac Cath Lab, Hybrid OR, Interventional Radiology, Special Procedures, PCI, PTCA, Permanent Pacemaker Insertion, IABP, Impella, TIPS, EVAR, Carotid Stenting, and many additional vascular/IR/neuro procedures. 3. Certifications: BLS, ARRT-R, CA CRT, CA Fluoroscopy required; ARRT CI preferred. Copies required at time of submittal. Must be in hand at submission. 4. License: Valid CA License required at time of submission. Candidates with license hits accepted on a case-by-case basis; facility must be informed of any hits at submission. 5. Education: Not specified. 6. EMR: Meditech Expanse; Meditech experience preferred. Also uses Omnicell med system and SBAR communication. PACS experience required. 7. Shifts/Call: Every third weekend on call; 1-3 nights per week on call. All weekends are on-call. Scheduling type listed as Other. 8. RTO: Always requires facility approval. 9. Returning Staff: If previous perm or traveler, must have been away 1 year and requires facility approval. 10. Travel/Local: Travelers within 50 miles are not accepted. 11. Background: Candidates with license hits accepted on a case-by-case basis; facility must be informed at time of submission. 12. Modules: Modules are not required. 13. Travel Experience: Not explicitly required; first-time travelers accepted with 5+ years of experience. 14. Scrubs: Provided by the facility. 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Required; Medical/Religious Exemptions and Declinations Allowed. COVID-19 Vaccine also required with booster; Medical/Religious Exemptions only. 16. Special Equipment: Philips imaging system referenced; PACS required. Critical: Labs must be completed within 24 hours of signing contract. Two supervisor references preferred. Can submit to more than one position; all positions applied to must be disclosed during submission. Travel pairs are accepted. Orientation is 20 hours.
