- Unit Notes:ASANTE ITEMS OF NOTE: - Local Radius: Client does not accept local candidates and has a 50-mile radius restriction. - Call Off Policy: Client may call off or cancel up to 24 hours per 13 weeks. - Non-Billable Orientation Hours: 12 hours of non-billable orientation for first work week. Guaranteed hours do not apply during orientation. - Licensure: Non-Oregon Licensed RNs can apply and be eligible for a 90-day temporary license if their permanent license is not posted before the start of their assignment. CATH LAB NOTES 1. General job duties. Types of procedures required. Cath - Diagnostics (Left and Right hearts), PCIs, CTOs, Impellas/IABPs Strutural Heart - TAVR, Watchman, Mitral Clip, PFO/ASD closures EP - only scrub and pan - EP studies, device implants IR - Peripheral interventions (Endoluminal Grafts, Carotids stents, CLI), Stroke (est Summer/Fall 2019), TIPS/DIPS, Embolization's, Thrombolysis, Neph/Biliary/Drainage Tubes, Ports, IVC Filters, 2. Equipment utilized in the unit/dept. (Is there computerized charting, medication systems, etc.) Electronic Medical Record - EPIC Hemodynamics/Procedural log/Equipment log - McKesson 3. Required skills and minimum years of experience. Scrub, monitor, and drive the x-ray. Able to manage external equipment (Medrad, Defibrillator, temporary pacer, IVUS, Rotablator/CSI/Laser, Angiojet, etc. Minimum 3 years experience in Cath lab. 4. Specific licensures and certifications/registrations required. (ARRT, CRT, BLS, ACLS, etc) ARRT, BLS, ACLS, 5. Shift or schedule requirements. (Will the employee ever work alone? Is call required? If so, how often? Are weekends required?) SEE JOB SPECS; Call: on average 1-2 nights per week and 1 weekend a month between full call and short call (1700-2000 M-F) 6. Travelers will have 1-2 days shadowing another tech and then will be ready to start taking call. RAD TECH NOTES 1. General job duties. Types of procedures required. Must be able to work with all patient types (infants - geriatrics), perform Fluoro procedures, ED exams, exams on In-patients and Out-patients, Portable exams, OR exams. 2. Equipment utilized in the unit/dept. (Is there computerized charting, medication systems, etc.) Epic - EMR Fuji Synapse PACS OEC c-arms Medtronic O-arms Seimens equipment (3 XR rooms & 2 Fluoro rooms) GE Portables Fuji Portables 3. Required skills and minimum years of experience. Must be able to work quickly, independently, and efficiently. Must be a self starter and able to take quality images. 3 years minimum experience 4. Specific licensures and certifications/registrations required. (ARRT, CRT, BLS, ACLS, etc) 5. Shift or schedule requirements. (Will the employee ever work alone? Is call required? If so, how often? Are weekends required?) ARRT BLS OBMI (Oregon state license) 6. Floating to other units/departments. (If so, to which units/departments?) Will be working in Radiology- when job asks for an IR Tech- that tech needs to be trained to do IR and cath lab exams as well. 7. Bed size/number of rooms for this unit/dept. 370 bed hospital with 30 bed ER 8. Nurse to patient ratio of this unit. (nursing only) 9. Dress Code: Will wear hospital scrubs 10.
