- Unit Notes:EP/Cath Lab combined If no ARRT then must have AR limited Xray license Unit Cath Lab Tech Miscellaneous Info & Examples if Needed # of suites/labs 7 labs (3 cath, 3 EP, 1 procedure room) #cases per day on average 20-25 patients/day Required Certifications (i.e., BLS, ACLS?) ARRT and/or RCIS/RCES (w/ Ark limited xray license), BLS, ACLS Common diagnoses/Types of patients EP is in the Cath Lab. IR is in Radiology. Specifically looking for an experienced EP Tech. Are EP and IR part of Cath Lab? NO Job Duties Scrub & monitor EP lab cases. Experience or 'Must have' skills Competent to scrub and monitor device implants, EP ablations, LAAO cases. Have a good understanding of EP lab, cardiolab pacing and ablating. EMR/Equipment Cerner currently, Epic in October, Merge in the Cath/EP Lab Cardiologist hours/on call Is there a manager/Charge Nurse on each shift? Does the charge nurse take an assignment? Manager on shift and does not take assignments. Cath Lab Techs Yes. Shifts & Scheduling (Do you allow self-scheduling? Block scheduling?) No self scheduling. We schedule staff. Shift - 0630- 1700, (10 hr shift) four days/week. Weeknight/Call Requirements Approx 7-9 week days/month Weekend/Call Requirements One weekend/month - Cath lab No weekends for EP Lab Holiday/Call Requirements Yes - Cath Lab No - EP lab What is call response time? 30 minutes Floating Requirements Not outside of the hospital. Only within the Cath Lab. No IR. Will Techs be required to float to IR or EP? Scrub Color/Dress Code Hospital scrubs provided- ceil blue How many shifts of unit/department specific orientation? 4 shifts of orientation for the unit. Cancellation Policy:Hospital can cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment, 3 shifts for assignments that are less than 13 weeks Charting System:Cerner BSN Required:False License to Submit:No Trauma Level: Care Setting:Acute Division:Allied Shift Notes:4x10s with call Required Certifications:ACLS, BLS (AHA), Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) via CCI
