- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years minimum required; unit accepts first-time travelers 2. Cases: HARD STOP requirements — Cardiac, Vascular, Endovascular, Thoracic experience required; Heart Transplant highly preferred; full list of accepted procedures includes CABG, CVOR, TAVR, EVAR, TEVAR, VAD, Craniotomy, Spinal Fusion, Transplant, and many others 3. Certifications: BLS required; CSFA, NBSTSA, or NCCSA required (hard stop); must be AHA or equivalent 4. License: Not specified 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic preferred 7. Shifts/Call: Days schedule; call 1 day per week and 1 weekend every ~4 weeks (subject to change); weekends required during call only; floating within facility/scope of practice and to Main OR as needed 8. RTO: No holiday RTO accepted; 14-week contract = 10 days RTO; 26-week contract = 17 days RTO; no consecutive weekend requests; cannot request all major holidays; only 1 weekend of RTO per 4-week timeframe; no block schedules honored; no self-scheduling; management reserves right to adjust 9.
