- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years experience required in a hospital setting; no travel experience if over 4 years 2. Cases: Cardiac (need self-rating of 3 or above); basic dysrhythmia training preferred (self-rating 3 or above); diverse population including patients with mental health diagnoses 3. Certifications: BLS & ACLS required; NIH preferred 4. License: Valid Oklahoma or Compact License required at time of submission 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: EPIC required (hard stop); must be current within last 6 months 7. Shifts/Call: Days (3x12s); no on-call required; 3 weekend shifts per 6 weeks; 36 guaranteed hours 8. RTO: Maximum 5 days in 13-week assignment; no holidays; no additional RTO after submittal or while working on contract; no RTO day before, day of, or day after major holidays 9. Returning Staff: Must note if traveler has worked at OSUMC as traveler or permanent employee 10. Travel/Local: Locals accepted at same rate as travelers 11. Background: No background or license hits allowed; zero-fault attendance policy (2 missed shifts = warning, 3+ may result in cancellation) 12. Modules: Required pre-start; 3-4 hours average; non-billable; recorded via transcripts or completion certificates 13. Travel Experience: Required 14. Scrubs: Varies by unit 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Required - Medical/Religious Exemptions Only 16. Special Equipment: Not specified Critical: Patient ratios 1:5-7; must commit to lab work within 48-72 hours of signing; 1 reference within past year from Manager or Unit Supervisor required; straight MS/Tele experience required.
