- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years required; first-time travelers accepted 2. Cases: General medical surgical population, CHF, CP, Cellulitis, osteomyelitis, pancreatitis, s/p amputations, small bowel obstruction, Afib/dysrhythmias, Cancer, Palliative care 3. Certifications: MD RN license, BLS, ACLS, NIH, CPI required; BLS/ACLS/PALS must be AHA ONLY; CPI certification required (Calm Every Storm online version only acceptable online vendor); NRP or AAP accepted 4. License: Must have active MD or Compact License at time of submission 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic preferred 7. Shifts/Call: 36H nights, every other weekend required, holidays required as scheduled, floating required within specialty and lower acuity, on-call not required but may be on lieu of call off for low census 8. RTO: Max 7 days can be requested; if more than 4 consecutive days, additional week added to back end on new contracts; one major holiday off allowed during winter season 9. Returning Staff: Former staff must be gone 12 months before returning as traveler; return travelers must be away 6 months from system after assignment completion 10.
