- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 1 year minimum; first timers not accepted 2. Cases: Must have experience with cardiac drips (Amiodarone, Cardizem, Dobutamine, Dopamine, Milrinone, Nitroglycerin), diuretics (Bumex, Lasix), anticoagulants (Aggrastat, Argatroban, Heparin), and insulin drips. Post cardiac cath, TR bands, basic arrhythmia knowledge required 3. Certifications: BLS, ACLS required 4. License: GA or Compact license must be in hand at time of submittal 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic preferred; also Pyxis, SBAR 7. Shifts/Call: Call is rare with 2-hour response time; weekends typically every other; floating required to like units 8. RTO: Maximum 7 days per contract; if 1-2 holidays during assignment, no holiday RTO can be requested; if 3 holidays, expected to work 2 with one holiday RTO possible 9. Returning Staff: Must be away 1 full year from all Piedmont facilities to return as traveler; if previous cancel/DNR, must complete one successful assignment elsewhere first 10. Travel/Local: Local candidates accepted at same rate 11. Background: Not specified 12.
