Requirements

- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: Minimum 2 years of cardiac floor experience required 2. Cases: Cardiac Telemetry, PCU/DOU/IMC/Stepdown, Post MI, Pre/Post Cardiac Cath, cardiac surgeries, thoracic surgeries 3. Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS required; must pass EKG testing prior to start 4. License: NC or Compact license required in hand at time of start 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic preferred 7. Shifts/Call: Nights 36 hours only; 4 weekend shifts per 4 weeks (flexible); cannot work more than 5 days in a row or 60 hours per week 8. RTO: Auto approve 7 days or less (not on holidays); more requires facility approval; must work 2 out of 3 major holidays; no RTO during first week; RTO after booking not allowed 9. Returning Staff: Previous employees must wait 12 months; must disclose previous employment 10. Travel/Local: Candidates under 50 miles offered lower local rate; locals accepted 11. Background: Not specified 12. Modules: 8-10 hours for acute care roles; non-billable; completed pre-start via online learning, Zoom, webinar, and in-person classes 13. Travel Experience: Required unless traveler has more than 24 months cardiac experience 14. Scrubs: Navy 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Required - medical/religious exemptions only 16.
