- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 1 year required (2 years preferred) with critical care experience highly preferred 2. Cases: Abdominal transplant surgeries, hepatobiliary surgery, ENT surgery, plastics & ortho microsurgery, general surgery/trauma, ortho 3. Certifications: BLS and ACLS required; BSN preferred; must pass Relias EKG exam 4. License: Valid state license required at submission; MO license or compact license required; compact license must match permanent residence state 5. Education: BSN preferred 6. EMR: Epic experience required 7. Shifts/Call: Every other weekend required; no on-call; can sign for 36 or 48 hours per week 8. RTO: No more than 7 days per 13-week contract; no RTO first week; cannot be changed after submission 9. Returning Staff: Former permanent employees must wait 1 year before returning as traveler 10. Travel/Local: 75-mile radius rule; no local candidates accepted 11. Background: No medical marijuana cards accepted 12. Modules: Billable up to 16 hours at $20/hr; completed pre-start through WorkRamp; must start within 1 week of contract and complete 2 Fridays prior to start date 13. Travel Experience: Not specified as required 14. Scrubs: Navy scrubs 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Required (medical/religious exemptions only) 16. Special Equipment: EKG, Phillips monitors, bladder scanner, dopplers, SCDs, Hoyer lifts, CPAP/BiPAP, interpreter iPads Critical: Must complete labs within 48-72 hours of signing. Patient ratios 1:3 all shifts. Will float within service line including MS units.
