Requirements

- 1+ years of experience
- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 1 year required 2. Cases: Telemetry and stepdown-level care (PCU/DOU/IMC); long term pulmonary patients, ENT surgery, surgical procedures requiring stepdown level care 3. Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS required (must include valid NIHSS in submission if available) 4. License: Active New York Single State RN license required in hand to submit (NY is not Compact) 5. Education: Foreign education requires verification - must alert account manager at submittal 6. EMR: EPIC experience is a hard requirement 7. Shifts/Call: 7p-7a, every other weekend, must be available every other holiday if needed; floating required to ICU and/or MS 8. RTO: Cannot submit anyone with more than 10 days RTO; must submit requests upon submission; up to two pre-approved time off 9. Returning Staff: 1 year return staff policy 10. Travel/Local: RNs within 75 miles not accepted; locals accepted for LPNs only 11. Background: Reviewed on case-by-case basis 12. Modules: Billable up to 5 hours, total may reach 10 hours; excess over 5 hours non-billable; completed pre-start; recorded via facility report 13. Travel Experience: Yes, required; first-time travelers accepted 14. Scrubs: Any combination of navy blue and white 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Unknown 16. Special Equipment: Not specified Critical: Patient ratios 1:4-5, 16 orientation hours, 22 daily census, 24 beds. Call off policy allows up to 3 shifts during 13-week contract.
