Certifications: ACLS, BLS required; CPI, NIHSS, Trauma preferred 4. License: Active Virginia State or Compact RN license required; pending license accepted only if candidate holds single-state license from non-compact state 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: EPIC experience required 7. Shifts/Call: 3x12s (645a-715p), 4x12s available upon request; may work EOW or 6 weekend shifts in 6-week block; must work 1 holiday per 13-week contract (2 holidays for winter: Thanksgiving, Christmas/Christmas Eve, NYE/New Years) 8. RTO: All requests must be included with submission; two pre-approved time off requests allowed 9. Returning Staff: Previous employees must be gone minimum one year before returning; facility does not allow travelers to return after working 365 days despite separation period (effective July 1, 2025) 10. Travel/Local: Local candidates (within 100 miles) not accepted; 50-99.9 miles away may be considered for one 13-week assignment with no extension; under 50 miles may be considered at lower bill rate for one assignment with no extension 11.
