Requirements

- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years required 2. Cases: Med/Surg and SCU cases; patient diagnoses include CHF, A-Fib with RVR, DKA, ETOH Withdrawal, ARDS, Pneumonia, Sepsis, Surgicals (Ortho, General, OB/GYN, Podiatry, Urology), Delirium 3. Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, NRP required; copies required at submission 4. License: Valid state license in hand preferred; otherwise must apply for MN license through Aya project when offer accepted 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic (Excellian) required 7. Shifts/Call: 7p-7a shift; will work every other weekend; no on-call required; patient ratio 2:1 days/nights/weekends 8. RTO: Ideally no more than 5 days; two pre-approved time off days 9. Returning Staff: Must be gone 3 months from last shift worked as permanent staff or per diem 10. Travel/Local: 100 mile radius required; locals not accepted (exception for Radiology positions) 11. Background: Cannot proceed if open case exists; all hits reviewed during compliance; fingerprinting required with LiveScan 12. Modules: Pre-start modules required, average 8 hours, $150 stipend provided; all onsite Epic/Excellian modules billable 13. Travel Experience: Yes, travel experience required 14. Scrubs: Navy Blue 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Unknown 16. Special Equipment: NICOM, Nihon Kohden, Heated High Flow (Airvo), Bipap (V60), Vent (PB980) Critical: First-timers not accepted. Community hospital experience required. One supervisor reference minimum required at submission. Compliance deadline is Monday prior to start. Special procedures include Central Line Insertion, Cardioversion, ART Line Insertion, Chest Tube Insertion.
