- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2+ years Med Surg experience with travel; 3+ years preferable; at least 1 completed previous travel assignment required 2. Cases: Med Surg Neuro Unit - stepdown and medical surgical patients; stroke, neurosurgeries, neurological disorders 3. Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS required 4. License: Compact or TN License required at time of submittal 5. Education: ADN allowed (BSN only required for specific units not applicable here) 6. EMR: Cerner experience preferred 7. Shifts/Call: Patient ratios 1:7 utilizing team nursing; stepdown 1:3-4, MS 1:6-7; must work both stepdown and MS sides 8. RTO: Must be included at time of submittal; facility will not honor RTO submitted after offer; one pre-approved time off allowed 9. Returning Staff: Former permanent and internal travelers must be separated for one year before eligible to return; contact AM to verify rehire eligibility if previously employed 10. Travel/Local: Must live at least 100 miles from facility; can float between like units and campuses within 20 miles 11. Background: Not specified 12. Modules: Not specified 13.
