Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN – PCU/Stepdown 

Shift: Days / 7a-7p, 12×3, 36 hrs per week, every other weekend and major holiday required 

Length: 13 weeks

Requirements:

• VA License
• Experience 1 year of RN experience
• Must be able to read/verify rhythm strips 
• Proficient with lab draws and peripheral IV starts 
• Must have experience managing and titrating cardiac drips (Cardizem, Dobutamine, Dopamine, Nitroglycerin, Amiodarone)
• Experience with BiPAP and insulin drips
• BLS
• ACLS
• NHSS
• EPIC Experience preferred
• 6 months RN experience in an acute care hospital setting preferred
• EPIC Electronic Health Record (EHR) training preferred

Other Details:

• Traveler may float within skillset to ICU (for Stepdown/Progressive Care holds), Med/Surg, and ED for Stepdown or lower acuity holds as needed
• Must pass EKG Exam
• No vasopressor drips utilized on this unit
• Ratio*: 1:3-4
• Equipment: Alaris pumps, Hoyer lift, Sara Stedy, PCA pumps, GlucoStabilizer, bedside cardiac monitors.
• NO travel pairs/teams accepted
• No Local Travelers (within 50-mile radius)
