- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years of acute care experience within the last 3 years in the specialty required (hard requirement) 2. Cases: ICU or IMC and surgical post-op experience required; thoracic experience preferred 3. Certifications: AHA-ACLS and BLS required 4. License: WI RN or compact RN license required; must be in hand at submittal 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic experience required 7. Shifts/Call: Evening/Night 12-hour shifts, 7:00pm-7:30am, Monday through Friday with every other weekend and some holidays required 8. RTO: Generally no more than 2 weeks off in a contract; if request is more than 1 week consecutive, Vaya will add 1 week at end of contract 9. Returning Staff: Not specified 10. Travel/Local: 50 miles from facility; locals are not accepted 11. Background: Not specified 12. Modules: Telemetry exam required prior to start with strict passing criteria - must achieve 100% identification of lethal rhythms, no incorrect answers on 3rd degree heart blocks, and 80% passing score; two attempts allowed initially 13.
