- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years recent ICU experience required; must have 1 year of Level 1 trauma experience in high acuity PCU; 3 years total experience; ICU experience within the most recent year required 2. Cases: Transitional/progressive care patients; acute progressive patients; caring for boarders from ED until service line bed available; patients that may need rapid response 3. Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS required; EKG Onboarding exam, Advanced Math exam, Med/Pharmacology exam, General ICU competency exam, General ICU skills, CORE exams required 4. License: Compact or KY State License required at time of submission; will NOT accept any licensure hits 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Not specified 7. Shifts/Call: 36 or 48 hours/week contracts available; weekend coverage required; patient ratios 4:1 days, nights, and weekends; PACU call 1 hour response time, weekday call 8PM-6AM, weekend call divided into 6AM-6PM or 6PM-6AM shifts 8. RTO: Must be presented at time of submission; any time off sent after offer will not be approved; pre-approved time off limited to two 9. Returning Staff: Gone for 6 months to return as traveler; must know at submission if previously worked at facility for rehire eligibility check 10.
