- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years required (job requirements section); however, 1 year experience required with exceptions depending on unit 2. Cases: CVA, Sepsis, Active GI Bleeding, Heart failure, Respiratory failure/Covid-19/Influenza/Pneumonia, Coronary Artery Disease/NSTEMI, Atrial Fibrillation/Arrythmias, Alcohol withdrawal, Seizure 3. Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS required; AHA only accepted 4. License: Valid PA License or Compact License required at time of submission 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Cerner experience preferred 7. Shifts/Call: Night shifts, patient ratios 5:1 all shifts, weekend coverage required, work every other holiday required 8. RTO: Pre-approved time off limited to two; RTO required at time of submittal; required to work every other holiday 9. Returning Staff: Permanent employees cannot return as traveler unless in different specialty 10. Travel/Local: Local candidates accepted at travel rate; may float to sister facilities within 10-mile radius; floating within hospital when needed 11.
