- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years required; must have full year of in-specialty experience within past 12 months with no gap in employment greater than 90 days in past year 2. Cases: Patient ratio 1:5; work settings include MS/Tele, Telemetry, Cardiac Telemetry, ER Holding, Neuro Stepdown, PCU/DOU/IMC/Stepdown 3. Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS required 4. License: Kansas and Missouri licenses or compact required at submission 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic experience preferred; 3 hours pre-start EMR modules required; EPIC test out option available 7. Shifts/Call: 8 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule period; holiday shifts as needed; no on-call required 8. RTO: 7 day maximum 9. Returning Staff: 18 months tenure policy with 3-month break in service required 10. Travel/Local: 75-mile radius considered local; locals not accepted 11. Background: Drug screen failures result in 6-month waiting period before re-applying 12. Modules: 10-15 hours compliance modules due Monday 1 week prior to start; Infusion Pump and Glucometer training due Sunday before start 13. Travel Experience: First-timers accepted 14. Scrubs: Not mentioned 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Required - Medical/Religious Exemptions Only 16. Special Equipment: Various equipment including chest tubes, BIPAP/CPAP, telemetry monitoring, cardiac drips Critical: Must float between departments/units/facilities.
