- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years of recent specialty experience required; must have full year of in-specialty experience within past 12 months with no gap in employment greater than 90 days in past year 2. Cases: Bariatric surgery, urology cases (TURP, TURBT with CBI, Nephrectomy), hepatobiliary (Whipple, liver resection), colorectal (colon resection, ostomy creation), trauma patients with abdominal injury, necrotizing soft tissue infections requiring serial debridement 3. Certifications: BLS, NIH/NIHSS required; Compact License required 4. License: Kansas and Missouri or compact license required at time of submission 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic experience required; 3 hours pre-start Epic modules; Epic test out option available 7. Shifts/Call: 8 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule period (Friday/Saturday/Sunday combination); floating required between departments, units and facilities; no on-call required 8. RTO: Maximum 7 days per contract 9. Returning Staff: 18 months tenure policy with 3-month break in service required 10. Travel/Local: Locals not accepted; 75-mile radius considered local; travel experience required 11. Background: Drug screen required; diluted or positive results result in cancellation and 6-month wait period 12. Modules: 10-15 hours compliance modules due Monday 1 week prior to start; 3 hours pre-start EMR modules (non-billable); Infusion Pump and Glucometer training due Sunday prior to start 13.
