- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years required; must have full year of in-specialty experience within past 12 months with no gap in employment greater than 90 days in past year; strong ventilator experience required 2. Cases: Pulmonary Stepdown, Intermediate Care, ventilated trach patients, COPD, pulmonary patients, airvo, bipap pulm valve placement, cpap, respiratory treatment high acuity patients 3. Certifications: BLS, NIHSS required 4. License: Both Kansas and Missouri or compact required at time of submission 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic experience preferred; 3 hours of pre-start EMR modules required; RNs have choice to complete EPIC test out option or EPIC module 7. Shifts/Call: No on-call required; 8 weekend shifts per 13-week contract; regular floating required between departments, units and facilities 8. RTO: Maximum 7 days 9. Returning Staff: Tenure policy - 18 months with 3-month break in service required 10. Travel/Local: Locals not accepted; 75-mile radius rule applies 11. Background: Not specified 12. Modules: 10-15 hours due Monday 1 week prior to start; 3 hours pre-start EMR modules non-billable; Infusion Pump and Glucometer training must be completed by Sunday prior to start date 13.
