- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years of recent specialty experience required; must have full year of in-specialty experience within past 12 months with no gap in employment greater than 90 days in past year 2. Cases: Medical Cardiac Step down patients, Chest Pain, CHF, Arrhythmias, Multiple system diseases 3. Certifications: BLS required, ACLS required; Previous Charge Experience preferred 4. License: Kansas and Missouri licenses or compact required at submission; Pending License accepted 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic experience preferred; 3 hours of pre-start EMR modules required; RNs can choose Epic test out option or Epic module 7. Shifts/Call: 1:5 patient ratios; 8 weekend shifts required in 6-week schedule period; Holiday shifts and Charge RN assignments as needed; No on-call required; 3 shifts guaranteed per 13 weeks 8. RTO: 7 day maximum RTO; No more than 7 days restriction 9. Returning Staff: Tenure Policy requires 18 months with 3-month break in service 10. Travel/Local: 75-mile radius rule; locals not accepted 11. Background: Drug screen failures result in 6-month waiting period before re-applying 12. Modules: 10-15 hours compliance modules due Monday 1 week prior to start; Infusion Pump and Glucometer training due Sunday prior to start date; Pre-start modules non-billable 13.
