Requirements

- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years required; must have full year of in-specialty experience within past 12 months with no gap in employment greater than 90 days in past year 2. Cases: Medical diagnosis related pulmonary, wounds, urology, general cardiac, general neuro, general renal 3. Certifications: BLS, NIHSS required 4. License: Kansas and Missouri licenses or compact required at submission 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic experience required; 3 hours of pre-start Epic modules required 7. Shifts/Call: 8 weekend shifts per contract (combination of Friday/Saturday/Sunday); holiday shifts as needed; charge RN assignments as needed; no on-call required 8. RTO: 7 day maximum RTO 9. Returning Staff: 18 months tenure policy with 3-month break in service required 10. Travel/Local: 75-mile radius considered local; locals not accepted; travel experience required 11. Background: Drug screening required; diluted or positive results result in cancellation and 6-month waiting period 12. Modules: 10-15 hours of compliance modules due Monday 1 week prior to start; 3 hours pre-start Epic modules (non-billable); Infusion Pump and Glucometer training due Sunday prior to start 13. Travel Experience: Yes, required 14. Scrubs: Navy color 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Required - Medical/Religious Exemptions Only 16. Special Equipment: Not specified Critical: Patient ratios 1:5 (may flex to 1:6 on rare occasions). Floating required between departments, units and facilities. Labs must be completed within 48-72 hours of signing. Two references from past year required. Level 1 Trauma experience required. First-timers not accepted.
