Requirements

- 1+ years of experience
- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 1.5 years required; cardiac experience required; must have experience with CABG and valve post-op; SD/PCU experience required (ICU experience does not count) 2. Cases: CABG, valve replacement/repair, mitral clip, TAVR, thoracotomy, lung cases including pneumothorax, hemothorax, chest tube management 3. Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH required; must be able to read and interpret EKG strips; IV start and cardiac drip titration required 4. License: Any state RN license accepted; can apply for temp license on offer (5-10 days); compact license accepted; no past license actions accepted 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic experience required 7. Shifts/Call: Must work every other weekend/holiday; targeted patient ratios 1:4-6; 48-hour contracts with OT billed at 48 hours 8. RTO: Maximum 14 days allowed; must request with initial submittal; no RTO added after offer; manager's discretion 9. Returning Staff: Not specified 10. Travel/Local: 50-mile radius for nursing; locals not accepted 11. Background: Not specified 12. Modules: 18-24 average hours; up to 24 hours billable; completed during orientation plus up to 8 hours annually; self-reported to manager 13. Travel Experience: Preferred; Level 1 or 2 experience preferred 14. Scrubs: Navy Blue scrubs 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Required - Medical/Religious exemptions only 16.
